Which books have you tried? Cassandra Eason is quite good and has a couple of books on pendulums

I would have to say that my favorite form of divination has to be the tarot. I'm nowhere near an expert, but I feel like every time I've read the cards or had the cards read for me that the readings have always been extremely intuitive to the things that are happening in my life. I personally don't own my own deck as I haven't found one that truly calls to me yet. (That and the ones that I do like always seem to be so expensive...)
I've used the pendulum a couple of times, I greatly enjoyed it when I was using one but I lost mine when I moved. It was dissapointing, as I'd grown very attached to it and the crystal. I hope to get a new one sooner or later, as that was one of my personal favorites to use whenever I had simple yes or no questions that I wanted to ask.
I also have a tendency to have prophetic dreams in one way or another. They are rare, but I always know them when they happen. There is such an amazingly different feel to phrophetic dreams compared to dreams... I would definitely call myself a dreamwalker, I seem to have out of body experiences quite often when ever I'm seeing something that has/will happen.

I like using the pendulum (I have three, one is a clear quartz, the second is a rose quartz and the third is one I made with some chain and beads) and a deck of playing cards, I use them as my tarot deck :-P (I haven't found the right tarot deck yet) and they work really well, I always get great results. I would like to try and work with runes.

I now practice tarot mostly, though not so active as it's not in my routine so I tend to forget ^_^; I have a pendulum but rarely use it and I have a lenormand deck - which my grandmother taught me to use - and I want to learn how to use runes. Scrying is something I'm very curious about too, but I don't want to pu too much on my plate so sticking with this now

Oh, and the tarot is Robin Wood The image is a bit 'flat': the colors are more vivid in real life ;D

mlrems1225 - Have you checked Hajo Banzhaf? I can't give you the exact book name as mine is in Estonian, but I think it ought to be something like "Tarot handbook". It comes in wide range of languages. I've been addicted to it for years now though I've too read quite a list on the topic. So far he has been one of the very few, who has thorough card explanations, plus spreads and actually teaches you how you can ask questions better to get better results. Not to mention astrological and numeral associations. What I also like about this book is that it has classical Rider-Waite images there. Even if you have different deck, you can still see the similarities and symbols they carry.

Formosa, that is a gorgeous deck! I think the artwork is what attracts me to tarot more than anything. Maybe I'll attempt to make my own deck sometime. I think that would be fun ^_^
I just have to express how much I love this thread! It's very informative and gives me a lot of ideas.
When I was younger I was really into dream interpretation, and I had a bit of success with that. But what I really need to work on is understanding when a prophetic dream is occurring. I think it's something I'll work on more once when I'm out of school, because I have AWFUL sleeping habits right now and I haven't had many memorable dreams lately...which I'm sure is a product of only getting 5-6 hours of restless sleep every night.
Hearing Windy and Charlie discuss clairaudience reminds me of some instances I had when I was little. This was when I still didn't know anything beyond Christianity and I thought it Jesus was talking to me because it always happened in the church. I never told anyone about it because I knew I would sound crazy. It's something I would like to look into, but I find it kind of scary.
I'm pretty interested in learning about several forms of divination. I've studied numerology a bit and find that quite interesting. I-Ching is confusing to me, so again, that's something I'd like to look at more. I think tarot is great, but I would prefer looking at runes because their simplicity will not distract me as much as pretty cards will, lol.
I made a pendulum a while ago and have been working with that. It's not bad and I think I'll invest in some nicer materials if it proves itself a favorite tool. I like the chakra chart Charlie showed in one of her videos and I would like to try that sometime. The yoga class at my school did kundalini yoga a couple times, and though we were doing it primarily for the physical benefits, I think it would be nice to work it into my spiritual practices and do some work with chakras...I'll have to search later to see if there is a thread on this because it's a bit off topic.
