I love using a pendulum. It is easiest for me right now. I have tarot cards that I have used a few times, but they are so hard for me to get a feeling for. I have a set of runes that I received in a swap, but I havent used them yet. They are fun to make though (I made some for my partner in that swap, too)

I have a Ogham oracle deck which is very accurate - so much it is startling. I adore it. I also crafted a rune set, and I intend to learn how to read them soon.

The only tool that I own are the Wisdom of the Hidden Realms by Colette Baron-Reid's Oracle cards. I have used them sparingly due to not being able to cleanse them after each reading the proper way I would like to clear them. I love using them, they call to me and I feel them as I look at them. I get this glaze over my eyes, sort of, and just zone on them. After so I get a settled feeling about them! I would love to have a pendulum, amethyst or golden topaz, but soon I shall have one!!! Any suggestions? Ok there's a question, do I need to cleanse or clear them after each use or only when I use them for a reading with someone else?

Indigo, from what I've learned from tarot (when Erriender or Pat come on here, they can probably tell you better because both are really amazing with tarot), I don't think you have to CLEANSE them every time. Maybe every once in a while, like esbats. But clearing the previous person's energy. That shouldn't take too long though. I'm not for certain, but that's the impression I've gotten from readers.
And Lydia, I'm totally with you on that one!!

I think my favorite would be the Karma Cards. They are so simple! I'm lazy too!!

That would be awesome if that wasn't necessary to cleanse them! I use them every day and man talk about some work! I love them though....love them! ! Thanks Charlie!

Hi Indigo! I always felt that if you put a clear quartz inside the bag or box with the cards, you don't have to cleanse them every time. I usually cleanse mine on a new or full moon with a bit of dried mugwort wrapped all nice and neat in a white cloth about every 6 months or so...or if I feel like the last reading was really negative...or a not so co-operative client! I hope this helps!

Hello people I have used tarot cards and pendulums a few times they worked well, but I don't use them anymore. I don't use them anymore, because I have prophetic visions. I have had them since I was a child, and honestly all the ones I can remember came true. I also am from what I have read an emotional intuitive, meaning I can intuit stuff with my emotions. It's probably not what you think though. I only get visions when they come to me, I cannot control this ability. Which is okay because they come when needed not wanted, which is good. As far as the emotional intuiting goes it happens often. Sorry If that was off topic, but I never really talk about it allot. I feel at odds talking about it though, because it makes me feel uneasy. Uneasy because I don't want people to think I am strange or arrogant, because I am sensitive.

Hey James! I don't think you're strange or arrogant at all! I believe whole-heartedly that everyone has these gifts but they are not as accessible for some as they are to others. I think intuition (I definitely have strong intuition, but I never trust it until it validates itself, which is something I'm working on) plays a very important role in divination practices.

Thanks Charlie I also believe that everyone can have intuition/instincts, I also agree that some have more access then others. But if people want to grow in their intuition I think that practicing it can help expand intuition

I love the pendulum too! Mine is charoite. I felt a connection with it when I found it and had to get it. It has been very accurate. I like tarot occasionally and have just gotten the Deviant Moon deck simply because I love the art. I haven't used it yet though.

Carol, I love the Karma Cards, too!! And I just got this AMAZING deck of circular mandala cards that I really love. I have like 8 decks and I don't know why I have this sudden interest in tarot. My primary divination tool is my pendulum. I also have had success with scrying, but it sort of creeps me out!

I enjoy divination in ALL forms really!! Whether its using Tarot, Oracle cards, scrying, a pendulum, Runes, palmistry, reading Tea leaves or the like.
I have to say though, for me using any or all forms of divination with the ability of being an intuitive/empath has helped alot.... It really depends on the certain situation and who i am reading for as to which form i will use... however lately its been with the USE of Runes or Tarot
I am comfortable with both. I made my Runes using natural wood and I have many different tarot decks
